Join us to honor Earth Day!
Join the Juntos team – Vicente, Patricia, Yari, Victoria and Michael – at the Public Regulation Commission (PRC) meeting 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to show strong support for clean, renewable energy. The PRC will discuss whether or not to approve PNM’s coal and nuclear power replacement plan after the hearing examiner determined that the plan “put taxpayers at risk” and that the plan’s costs “outweighed the benefits.”
PNM’s current plan is a bad deal for New Mexicans, period. If approved, PNM would be passing on billions of dollars of debt to New Mexican ratepayers, consuming egregious amounts of precious water, and stifling a shift to a clean energy economy for better jobs and for a cleaner future for our children. Join us Wednesday, April 22, at 9: 30 a.m. in the PERA Building, 4th Floor Hearing Room at 112- Paseo de Peralta in Santa Fe! RSVP and share the event on Facebook. Let’s fill the seats and show the PRC that we support clean energy!
Find Juntos organizers Victoria and Michael at the University of New Mexico’s 7th Annual Sustainability Expo on Tuesday, April 21. The event will be held on Cornell Mall Tuesday, April 21 from 10:30 am to 2:30 p.m. RSVP and find more info on Facebook.
