McKinley County Commission Meeting March 14

By March 9, 2017December 1st, 2022Uranium Mining & Waste, McKinley

Join us on March 14th to tell the McKinley County Commission to do its job and protect our families and communities.

Communities that have been living with pollution from uranium mines have asked the Commission to develop a local ordinance to put stronger protections in place to keep our family safe from mining pollution. Instead, the Commission proposed a resolution that does nothing to protect our families.  If you are concerned about the impacts of uranium mining resuming in McKinley County, come give a public statement and let them know that you want a county ordinance that keeps families safe, not a do-nothing resolution.

Tuesday, March 14th 2017 at 1:30pm
At the McKinley County Commission Office

At the courthouse, across from Camille’s
3rd floor, 207 W Hill Avenue, Gallup NM
