Take action on climate change! New Mexico is “ground zero” for climate change impacts. Join us for the Rally at the Rio Grande to demand action!RallyattheRio

The rivers of New Mexico are what connect us all. They are the lifeblood of our land, providing the water our families, communities and economy need to thrive. Now, our water resources are under increasing stress.

New Mexico is “ground zero” for climate change impacts. We’re already experiencing the worst consequences: historic drought, raging wildfires and devastated local ecosystems. It’s time to take action to fight the disastrous effects of climate change that are ravaging our beloved Land of Enchantment.

That is why Conservation Voters New Mexico Education Fund (CVNMEF) is joining forces with nearly 20 environmental organizations and New Mexicans like you for a rally at the Rio Grande River to demand action on climate change!

We will gather on Saturday to hear music and talk about how climate change is affecting New Mexico. Then we will line both sides of the bridge at Central Avenue, hoisting signs demanding action. Signs will be provided or you can create your own.
